Help your current skincare work better
This exciting device gets those active ingredients where they need to be and delivers even more skin benefits.
Even if you’re happy with how your current skincare routine is working, the results could always be a bit better, right? Regardless of the active ingredients you’re using—whether vitamin C, exfoliating acids and/or retinol—the key for any sort of skin improvement is getting these actives to the proper layer of the skin so they can do their jobs.
When I got notice about Réduit’s Kickstarter campaign for the forthcoming Boost device this morning, I may have let out a little squeal because this little handheld device (and the associated app) does SO much. To get started, you complete your profile (including age, sex, skin tone, skin type, skin concerns, climate and ethnicity), in the app and connect your phone to the Boost device. Then you scan the barcode of your serum or cream so the app can analyze the active ingredients. From there, apply each product in your routine as usual and massage it in with the Boost for 30 seconds.
Here’s where it gets really fun… Based on the ingredients you’re using in each specific skincare step, the Boost adjusts the waveform to push actives to the proper depth for optimal absorption. AND it automatically incorporates a complementary LED treatment (red light for anti-aging serums and creams or blue-light for acne products).
Don’t drag your feet on this one! There are three days left to take advantage of the “Super Early Bird”pledge—which gets you a Boost (sometime in March) for $50. Once the Kickstarter window closes, the device will cost $150. Now I know what I’ll be looking forward to for the next month!
